Chattanooga - Part 2

Today it was raining. So we decided to go to the Tennessee Aquarium. We had breakfast/lunch, and then we headed out. We went to the River Journey aquarium section first. The kids had such a wonderful time checking out all the fish. My favorite part of the river side was the otters. They were very active, and it was hard to get a good picture. When we finished the River Journey we headed over to the Ocean Journey. I actually think the kids enjoyed this exhibit more. We got to see the penguins, and I think this was the highlight of my day. They are hilarious when they jump in and take off swimming from one side to the other. They are definately a crowd pleaser. I am also going to include some pictures from the twins riding some rides after supper last night. I hope everyone enjoys these pictures. Dylan has the same expression as Clifford Kaylee is such a dare devil Beautiful Birds Butterfly enjoying a break Swimming otter Another otter flying by I finally got a picture of one looking A group of penguins This is my favorite picture I can't believe the turtle is just letting the alligator sit on top of him Kaylee kept talking to all the other kids Dylan really wanted out of his stroller Me and Kaylee in the underwater cave

Chattanooga Trip

We arrived in Chattanooga, Tennessee on Tuesday the 24th. We are staying downtown at The Chattanoogan Hotel. We are having a wonderful time so far. It has been raining on and off so yesterday we just went to The Hamilton Place Mall. Today it was cloudy but was not raining so we decided to go see the Chattanooga Choo-Choo. The kids truly enjoyed seeing the trains. We got to ride the trolley around the grounds. Kaylee got to pull the string that sounds the bell. The poor thing got so tired she fell asleep holding the cord. Here are a few pictures to show you how the trip is going so far.

Being big boys and girls at the hotel.

The person taking the pictures always gets left out so I decided to take a picture of myself on the trolley ride. I just wanted to let everyone know that I was actually here. I hope you enjoy these and there will be more to come.

Outside Fun

It has been warmer outside so we decided to play on our little slide. The kids a big swingset for their upcoming second birthday. I just haven't got it put together yet. They are just going to have to use this one for a little while longer. They don't seem to mind though. Dylan deciding whether or not to slide Kaylee about to slide down

P.F.Chang's

We went to eat the other night at P.F. Chang's. We had to wait just a little while to get our table. I decided to take a few pictures of the kids checking out the huge horse in front of the building. Nana and Kaylee Pawpaw and Kaylee

Potty Time

The time has begun to begin the process of potty training. I bought Dylan and Kaylee their very own potty chairs. I opted for a standard no frill chair by Baby Bjorn. They don't leak and are easy to clean. The twins are doing a very good job going in the potty. The first thing I do is get them up from bed and go straight to the potty. They go again when they get up from their nap. I give them a sticker each time they use the potty. That reward seems to be working pretty well. Dylan has got to where now he will at least tell you when he goes potty in his diaper. I just need to get him to tell me "before" he goes. I hope to have them potty trained completely by the end of the year. Wish us luck!
